Wedding dresses come in all different shapes, sizes and price points. While there’s no shortage of wedding dress inspiration online, finding how much these dresses actually cost is harder than you would think! As your Wedding Wingmen, Monica and Tori of Platinum Bridal are here to give you the price transparency you need to determine how much you need to budget for your wedding dress. Here are four of their favorite wedding dresses at three different price points.
Budget-Friendly Wedding Dress <$1,000
This fit and flare mikado gown from Allure is perfect for brides looking for an affordable wedding dress. Details like a sweetheart neckline and princess seams aka seams that run vertically up the body to provide structure and enhance the body’s natural shape make this dress wow-worthy. This a great example of less is more, as this dress does not look inexpensive, but elegant and timeless. Additionally, with a simple dress, there is more room, both in the budget and style, to play with unique accessories.
Mid-Range Wedding Dress <$1,600
Next up, we have two examples around what the average wedding dress will cost you. First we start with a flirty organza ball gown from Private Collection. It features a sweetheart neckline with ruching in the bodice complemented by a full handkerchief skirt. What makes this dress unique and more expensive is the horsehair detailing on each layer of the skirt. This detail gives the dress extra movement and texture to make a statement.
Our second mid-range dress is this romantic fit and flare from Allure. This dress is heavily appliqued with hem lace detailing and features a sweetheart neckline with eyelash lace detailing. Designers often choose a higher quality lace like the one used in this dress as it can help conceal the stomach area with texture. Not only does the quality of the fabric and applique add to this dress price but the quantity as this dress has a beautiful lace train.
Luxury Wedding Dress <$4,500
Lastly, we have gorgeous Naama & Anat A-line dress. The a-line gown has an illusion of a plunging neckline but when you look closer you can see it’s held together with mesh. Similarly, the full-length sheer sparkle tulle skirt is paired with a bodysuit so you can be classy while showing off your legs. The detailed work and intricacy of the flowered lace embellishments on the cap sleeves, bust, and waist of the dress make this dress have a higher price tag.
