2 Spring Wedding Color Palettes

Wedding colors spring

What’s not to love about a spring wedding! When we think of spring colors, we think of blooming flowers, plants bursting back to life, and Easter’s soft pastels. Incorporate these gorgeous hues into different aspects of your wedding, like in bridesmaids & groomsmen outfits, florals, linens, centerpieces, and cake. Wedding Wingman Ashley McHone of Always Flawless Planning + Design shares two color palettes inspired by spring’s romantic pastels.

Spring Pastels

This color palette incorporates a lot of warm pastels, such as pinks, light oranges or tangerines, and shades of yellow. This light and airy option can make your space feel very warm and inviting.

Spring Purples

If you want to stay away from bright colors – or just don’t like pink – a purple palette is a lesser-used, but just as romantic-feeling, option. This selection incorporates warm tones via the yellow and greens, but the focus is firmly on the purples. It feels springy in a subtle, dreamy way. Bonus: this palette works especially well if you want to incorporate a lot of greenery into your wedding.

When selecting colors, Ashley urges you to remember the most important rule.

“It’s important that you always choose colors that you love and you’re going to be excited about for your wedding!”
